Coordination and Mobilisation of Volunteers

A large number of citizens willing and able to volunteer their efforts along with varying situations that require volunteer contribution requires an organized system of linking volunteers and volunteer seeking engagements. The National Policy on volunteerism seeks to establish a National Volunteering Secretariat which would act as the central, volunteer coordination body for the country. Thereby, it is important that effective methods and systems of coordinating and mobilizing volunteers are incorporated in to the National Action Plan.
